Every day we strive to find clean ingredients, the most sustainable shipping methods and packaging that offers the least impact to the environment. We believe that taking care of our skin feels better when we know we’re also doing less harm to our planet. Sustainability is never perfect, but we always aim to make progress and be as transparent as possible. We hope you’ll join us on our mission!

It’s our goal to keep our formulations as clean and simple as possible — while never sacrificing effectiveness. All of our products are free of both synthetic and natural fragrances, phthalates, sulfates, silicones and toxic chemicals. We carefully source each ingredients — looking for natural botanicals and oils that are eco-friendly and effective. In addition, we use up-cycled ingredients like plum kernel oil and mango butter whenever possible.
Did you know that the main ingredient in most products like lotion or shaving cream is water? We think it doesn’t make a lot of sense to transport water around the globe. That’s why we choose to use concentrated ingredients like our solid shave bar that gets activated with the water in your own shower. This means a lower carbon footprint and a lot less packaging waste. As an example, our 6 oz shave bar is the equivalent of 4 cans or tubes of conventional shaving cream but without the plastic waste and toxic chemicals. It’s a win-win for you and the environment!
From completely recyclable packaging to wrapping each bar in organic cotton gauze instead of a plastic wrapper; sustainability is at the heart of what we’re creating.
Our shipping boxes are both completely recyclable and made from 100% recycled material. In addition, the shipping tape we use is free of plastic which means it too can be recycled.
Lastly, our zero-waste bars are consciously-concentrated and packaged without single-use plastic. If any part of the product is synthetic (like our shave brushes) you can always reach out to us at hello@lolaarnao.com and we’ll recycle them through Terracycle —a company that specializes in recycling hard-to-recycle items.
We’re proud to offer carbon-neutral shipping on each and every order. We partner through Sendle — a company that utilizes unused space on express shipment vehicles to get your packages to you with a carbon-neutral shipping footprint.
We believe that beauty should never be cruel. That’s why we’re proud to be certified cruelty-free through Leaping Bunny. In addition, all of our products are 100% vegan.
